What we collect, and what we do with it.

The question box asks for your question. Your name and your email are both optional. Your message is sent to the campaign directly. If that connection is ever down, the form hands your message to your own email app instead, and it tells you on screen when that happens.

The yard sign form asks for your name, your address, and your email, because somebody has to know where to bring the sign.

The host a coffee and volunteer forms ask for your name and email, and the volunteer form asks what you like doing.

The updates form asks for your email and nothing else.

That is the entire list. The site never asks for your phone number, your party registration, or your date of birth.

If you leave an email address, we send you one short confirmation straight away so you know it arrived. You can reply to it and it goes to Larry.

Questions go to Larry and he answers them on the answers page, not in a private email. Every answer gets a number and its own page. If you left an email address, we send you that number and a link once your answer is up. That email does not contain the answer itself, and it never carries your name onto the site.

Yard sign requests are used to bring you a yard sign.

Coffee and volunteer forms are used to contact you about that specific thing.

Emails from the updates form are used to send you short campaign updates until you ask us to stop.

Names and addresses may be kept in the campaign’s own supporter list so we don’t knock on your door twice or drop a second sign at the same house.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Not to a party, not to a consultant, not to another candidate, not to a list broker. Two companies handle it for us and only for us: Google, which holds the spreadsheet and sends the mail, and Smartlook, which records how this site is used.

We do not publish your name. If Larry answers your question on the site, the question goes up and your name comes off.

We do not run a comment section, so nothing you send appears in public automatically.

We do not use your information to target you with advertising.

Submissions go to the campaign’s own Google account: a private spreadsheet only the campaign can open, plus a copy emailed to the campaign inbox. Nothing passes through an outside form service. If that connection is ever down, the form falls back to handing your message to your own email app, and it says so on screen rather than pretending the message was sent.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs the way every web host does. We also save, next to each submission, the IP address it came from, the rough town that address maps to, and the browser used to send it. That is how we tell one person sending the same form twenty times apart from twenty different neighbours. We do not look up who an IP address belongs to, and we never use it to contact you.

Smartlook, a session recording company, records how this site is used, including what you type into the forms. The next section says exactly what that means.

Nobody else. There are no advertising networks, no data brokers, and no pixel from any social network.

This site uses Smartlook to record how it is used. It sets a cookie, and it replays what visitors clicked, scrolled, and typed. That includes everything typed into the question box and the get involved form: your question, your name, your email, and the address you give so somebody can bring you a yard sign. It records as you type, so something you write and then delete before sending is recorded too.

It is switched on for one reason. The question box has been getting the same handful of people submitting over and over, and recordings and IP addresses are how the campaign tells that apart from twenty neighbours who happen to share a complaint.

Larry and the people running this campaign are the only ones who watch them. Recordings are not published, not sold, and not used to advertise to you. If you would rather not be recorded, email larry@larryforojai.com and we will delete every recording of you and confirm it. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the recorder does not start at all.

There are no advertising pixels, no Facebook pixel, and no Google Tag.

If any of that changes, this page changes first.

Email larry@larryforojai.com and say so. We will delete what we have and confirm it. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will not get you taken off any list you actually wanted to be on.

If a question of yours is on the answers page and you would rather it came down, say that too. It comes down.

This site is meant for voters and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

If what we collect changes, this page gets rewritten and the date at the top changes with it. There is no fine print and no other version of this policy.
