What is your opinion on a vendor raising costs year to year when it was never negotiated in a multi-year contract?

Any increase in invoices over the prior year should be reviewed, and any increase has to be justified with an acceptable reason. You don’t just pay it because asking your vendor is inconvenient and time consuming.
